3. INFORMATION YOU SHARE
Some of our Services let you share information with others (i.e., shareable links for customized web-based applications). These links are accessible by anyone with the correct link. It is your responsibility as the User to only allow access to trusted sources.

4. INFORMATION WE SHARE
We do not share your information or data with third parties outside Digitize Legal except in limited circumstances.

To provide certain aspects of our services, we rely on integrations or technology services offered by third parties. We enter into agreements with these third parties to ensure they meet standards for confidentiality, privacy, and security. For example, we rely on third-party services to: send transactional emails; send marketing emails (e.g. our newsletter); store data; track engagement on our website; facilitate real-time customer support chat; and process payments.

If Digitize Legal enters into a merger, acquisition or sale of all or a portion of its assets or business, your Personal Information may be one of the transferred assets. 5. COOKIES POLICY
We use first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies on our websites. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user’s device containing information about the user’s visit. Cookies come in various types for different purposes but they mainly allow Digitize Legal to track and target the interests of Users. 6. MARKETING

7. YOUR RIGHTS
If you have created a portal account with us, you can view, edit, and delete some of your data directly in your account, or you can contact us to exercise your rights. Specifically:

If you have provided us with payment information, you can view, edit, and delete your billing details.

You can use the unsubscribe link in our newsletter emails to opt out of their receipt at any time or you can send an email to privacy@digitize.legal with the subject line UNSUBSCRIBE.

If you have an account with us, you can delete your account and exercise your right to be forgotten by contacting us at privacy@digitize.legal.

In accordance with applicable privacy law, users of the Website and Services may have the following rights in respect to Personal Information that we hold:

Rights of access and portability: The right to access and receive a copy of the Personal Information we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.

Right to correction: The right to correct of your Personal Information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.

Right to erasure: The right to obtain the deletion of your Personal Information without undue delay in certain circumstances, such as where the Personal Information is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or processed.

Right to restriction: The right to ask us to suspend the processing of your Personal Information in the following scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the data’s accuracy; (b) where our use of the data is unlawful but you do not want us to erase it; (c) where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or (d) you have objected to our use of your data but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.

As part of the verification process, we match the information submitted as part of your request against information stored by Digitize Legal. In some instances, we will require additional information to verify your request. If an authorized third party makes a data subject request on your behalf, we will require sufficient written proof that you have designated them as your authorized agent. We try to respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days. Occasionally it may take us longer than 30 days if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority if you consider that the processing of your Personal Information infringes applicable law. We will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes and will make every reasonable effort to honor your wish to exercise your rights as quickly as possible and, in any event, within the timescales provided by data protection laws.

8. DATA RETENTION
If you have an account with Digitize Legal, we do not delete the data in your account that you choose to store. You must make the decision to delete your data and account. You can email support@digitize.legal with any data deletion requests.

9. SAFETY OF MINORS
The websites and services are not intended for and may not be used by minors. “Minors” are individuals under the age of 18. Digitize Legal does not knowingly collect personal data from minors or let them create accounts and reserve the right to delete data we reasonably believe is the personal data of minors without notice. We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. In circumstances where a change will materially change the way in which we collect or use your Personal Information or data, we will send a notice of this change to all of our account holders.

For residents of the United Kingdom or the European Union, your Personal Information may be transferred and stored in countries outside the United Kingdom and the European Union.
